HOW TO USE
- Apply a sticker to clean, dry skin.
- Step outside into daylight. Your sticker will activate and appear purple.
- Apply SPF 30+ directly over the sticker. Wait 30 seconds, then rub in. Your sticker should fade towards clear when protected.
- As your sticker gradually returns to lilac and purple, it's time to reapply SPF.

What is a UV detection sticker?
UV detection stickers are a clever way to make sure you’re wearing enough SPF and keeping it topped-up. Spending time in the sun? No probs! It’s the reminder you need to keep your skin protected.
How do UV detection stickers work?
UV detection stickers start off transparent and change colour when they’re exposed to UV (turn purple). Simply pop one on and apply your SPF as usual. Keep an eye on it when you’re in bright sunlight. Clear = protected. Purple sticker = protection needed!!
When should I use UV stickers?
Anytime you’re out in the sun! They’re great for when you’re on hols, playing sports and will be outside for a while, so you know when it’s time to reapply (they’re also sweat and water-resistant, so jump in that pool).
Do the UV stickers work with all sunscreens?
Yes, BEAME UV stickers are designed to work with all SPF 30+ creams, lotions and mists. If your sun protection sticker doesn’t turn clear after applying sunscreen, it could mean your sunscreen is expired, not strong enough or wasn’t applied evenly.
Are the stickers waterproof?
They are water- and sweat-resistant, so they’ll stay put during swimming, workouts and outdoor activities.
Can kids use these stickers?
Yes, BEAME UV stickers are dermatologically tested, hypoallergenic and safe for children aged 3 and up.
Will the stickers irritate my skin?
No. The UV stickers use a gentle adhesive that’s safe for all skin types, including sensitive skin. They’re thoroughly tested to ensure all-day comfort without irritating your skin.
How long does one sticker last?
Each sun sticker is designed to last for 4 hours. However, the colour will let you know when your sunscreen has worn off and it’s time to reapply your UV detection sticker and your SPF.
How do I use them correctly?
Apply one sun protection sticker to clean, dry skin before sunscreen - if you’re struggling to keep it staying put, you might need to dry your skin. Step outside for a moment to activate it in natural light. Then apply your SPF 30+ sunscreen. When your protection wears off, the sticker will turn purple.
Do they work indoors or on cloudy days?
The stickers only detect UV outdoors. On cloudy days, the colour change may take a little longer since UV levels are lower, but they’ll still work.
Why are the stickers purple when I open the pack?
They start purple in sunlight. Once you've applied enough SPF, they turn clear. When they become purple again, it's time to reapply.
Will the sticker leave a tan mark?
No. When SPF is applied evenly across the sticker and surrounding skin, it should not leave a tan mark.
Why did my sticker turn purple after swimming?
Because water can remove sunscreen from the UV Detection Sticker surface faster than it removes sunscreen from surrounding skin.
