What is The UV Protection Patch Duo?
The UV Protection Patch Duo brings together our cheek and forehead UV protection patches to help protect two of the most sun-exposed areas of your face. Spending time in the sun? No probs! Simply pop them on and let them do the protecting.
How do UV protection patches work?
Our patches use UV protection technology built into an ultra-thin breathable film designed to help protect against both UVA and UVB rays. Simply pop them on and continue with your routine as usual.
What does UPF 50+ mean?
UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor. In short? It means a high level of UV protection against both UVA and UVB rays. During testing, our patches showed a UVB blocking rate of 99.93% and a UVA blocking rate of over 94%.
When should I use UV protection patches?
Anytime you’re out in the sun! They’re great for when you’re on hols, playing sports and will be outside for a while.
Do these replace sunscreen?
Nope! These patches are designed to be used alongside your normal sun protection routine.
Will they irritate my skin?
Nope! Our UV protection patches are dermatologist tested and hypoallergenic.
How do I apply them?
Make sure your skin is clean and completely dry. Pop on the patch, press it into place, peel off the clear top film and smooth it down. Then continue with your sunscreen and makeup routine.
How long can I wear them?
They’re designed for extended wear when applied correctly. Replace the patch if it starts to lift, crease or lose its hold.
Will they work on oily skin?
Yes! Just make sure your skin is thoroughly cleansed and completely dry, with no moisturiser, oil, sunscreen or makeup underneath the patch.
Can I use them on sensitive skin?
Our patches are dermatologist tested and hypoallergenic. If your skin is sensitive, patch-test first and stop using them if irritation occurs.
What are they made from?
They’re made from an ultra-thin, breathable polyurethane film with a skin-safe adhesive and skincare ingredients.
How many patches are in each pack?
For Cheeks Sake™ includes 10 patches, which is five pairs. Head in the Clouds™ includes 10 forehead patches.
How do I remove them?
Lift one edge and peel the patch back slowly and gently. Don’t pull it off quickly.
